Add Article To List
Speedway Motors new 78-88 GM Metric Chassis Hobby Stock and Stock Car frames are all new frame pieces that are ready for assembly without searching for an increasingly small supply of OEM frames (complete welded kit shown, assembly required)

With the growth of Hobby Stock and Stock Car race car builds increasing and the supply of original GM Metric chassis frames dwindling, Speedway Motors has developed a game-changing solution: our IMCA Hobby Stock rules-approved and Stock Car GM Metric chassis frames.* Designed to address the challenges of sourcing reliable 1978-1988 GM Metric frames, our mild steel frame kits offer a modern alternative that retains factory dimensions while incorporating the race-necessary modifications to meet Hobby Stock and Stock Car rules. Whether you need a front or rear stub or a complete frame kit, our weld-together design ensures ease of assembly and superior performance. To make your build even easier, we've included comprehensive build lists curated by our racing experts, so you can confidently assemble a winning car from the ground up.

*Special Note: NOT for street use. These frame sections are for Stock Car or Hobby Stock racing use only. No provisions for factory GM Metric chassis bumper mounts or other factory use is intended.
