The Crazy cars of SEMA

Just like the city that hosts it, the SEMA show is all about over the top excess. We would be remiss if we didn’t let you in on some of the craziness. Here, in no particular order, we present some of the wildest and weirdest.

It takes a lot of engine to get the scoop above the roof, but this flamed Econoline did just that.
We spotted this wacky coupe in Lincoln last week on its way to the show. This one sports some wild metal fabrication and drew a crowd all week.
This Model A coupe was sporting a wild, turbocharged and nitrous'd big block.
...At least it has no shortage of rubber on the rear.
Depending on where you live, you can go for years without seeing an exotic supercar. At SEMA, the place is absolutely crawling with them.
An open-wheeled, Gremlin hot rod? Why not! Anything goes at SEMA.
This outrageous bubbletopped creation is the Space Junkie II by Ian Roussell.
This wild little creation used to be a 59 El Camino.
This Thunderbird is sporting some very impressive fabrication work.
...It's sporting a pretty wild powerplant too.
And finally, this. We're not really sure what's going on here, but there's a lot of work in this wacky truck.
