ididit Universal Steering Column Dimensions

Ididit universal steering columns come in a variety of lengths, ranging from 16" to 33" long. These lengths are measured from the top of the sleeve (or "head") to the bottom of the output shaft. Often times however, this is not the only measurement you will need to know before purchasing your custom steering column.

The dimensional drawings below show the length differences between the various coulmn head designs (column-shift vs. floor-shift vs. telescoping). They will help you get a more accurate idea of how the universal steering column will fit in relation to your dashboard and seating position.
