Way before 2-day shipping. Before 300-page catalogs, speed shops and even before seat belts, a wild bunch of the mechanically-inclined needed to go faster.

They needed it to show off on the main drag. They needed it to win races. And a few decided they needed it to outrun the cops.

But custom parts and the aftermarket didn’t exist. At least, not like today. If you wanted to change your look or add horsepower, you either had to invent it or find someone else who could.

That’s why in 1952, “Speedy” Bill decided to start Speedway Motors. If he couldn’t find the right high-quality parts, he would make them himself. And he’d know if they were high quality or not, because he put them on his own racecar.

It's the same today as in 1952. We’re still family owned and those family values matter. We deliver quality automotive parts. The only difference is we also ship them fast, all over the world.
